
Andrea DelBene recently merged her creative background with an MBA in Finance from the Baruch College Zicklin School of Business. She has 11 years of filmmaking experience both as a producer and director.
Andrea started her filmmaking career as a script reader for Christine Vachon and Pam Koffler at Killer Films while attending film school (Hofstra University, 2013). Andrea interned for Silvercup Studios and volunteered annually at the Hamptons International Film Festival.
In 2012, Andrea began working for indie cult filmmaker Lisa Hammer who cast Andrea in a principal role in The Sisters Plotz. Andrea later became a Producer of the feature film which stars Eve Plumb (The Brady Bunch, Grease Live!), Alan Lewis Rickman (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Boardwalk Empire), Yelena Shmulenson (Boardwalk Empire, Orange Is the New Black) and Mario Corry (Bridge of Spies).
In 2017, Andrea secured a distribution deal with Amazon Prime for The Sisters Plotz.
Andrea is a proud SAG-AFTRA member and spent 3 years working on set as a Stand-In and Production Assistant (The Path, Elementary, Orange is the New Black, Shades of Blue, amongst many others).
Andrea has a few featured roles & cameos in episodics and films such as HBO's Crashing, Girls, and Vinyl, as well The Carrie Diaries and Blue Bloods.
She has written, directed, produced, shot and edited 11 of her own films (and collaborated on numerous others)- some on digital and others on 16 mm film. Andrea has edited film by hand and written two feature length screenplays. Her experimental short film, Yonkers won the Italian American Heritage Award and the Audience Favorite award at the GIAA Film Festival in 2011. Andrea's short film, Food for Roger was selected for the Palm Springs International Short Fest Film Market in 2012.
As a producer, Andrea helped launch the successful startup, Birds Eye Imaging INC, from inception, to growth, and the eventual sale of the company in 2016. Andrea generated a recurring stream of revenue for Birds Eye resulting in sales with nyc.gov and MSG Networks for a New York Rangers commercial.
While attending business school in 2017, Andrea worked for financial consultant, Fred Siegel CPA, where she gained exposure to film financing through production tax credits.
Andrea co-founded CUNY Crypto after taking interest in blockchain and its powerful applications to the entertainment industry. Andrea is currently producing a feature film and working as a valuation consultant for Deloitte.
